Disney H2O Glow Nights – The Ultimate Pool Party of 2019

Disney's Typhoon Lagoon shipwreck focal point atop a hill overlooking the sunset.

The sun may be setting at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, but that doesn’t mean it’s time to say goodbye! From select nights until August 24, 2019, you can splash your way into Disney H2O Glow Nights — the ULTIMATE pool party of 2019! Celebrate the summer with all of your favorite pals from Toy Story 4 and zoom through the wait-free slides for a fun-filled evening!

We were able to attend the festivity recently and got the first-hand experience on what Disney H2O Glow Nights has to offer! If you are wondering if this is something that you and your family would love, we’re going to give you the inside scoop on some of the highlights that make this party one to attend.

1- Toy Story 4 Character Greetings

Now, your night can begin in all sorts of ways. Jump into the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool to test the waters with each passing wave. Begin your evening with a relaxing trip around Castaway Creek. The choice is yours, however, we think visiting some of the coolest toys out there should be first and foremost!

Begin the evening with exciting photo-op sessions featuring the pals of Disney Pixar‘s Toy Story 4. For example, pose with your favorite duo, Woody and Jessie, or travel to infinity and BEYOND in your photo with Buzz Lightyear! Capture the best memories before you even splash into the water!

Toy Story characters, Jessie (waving) and Woody (with his hand out) stand in front of green, blue and orange background to get ready for photos with guests during night at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon. Toy Story character, Buzz Lightyear, stands with his hands on his waist while in front of Star Command and Zurg-inspired surfboards. He waits for the next guest for a meet and greet photo session during night at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon.

2- Food and Beverage Offerings

We know, we know, it’s probably best to eat AFTER hitting the water, but we were SO excited to order that we couldn’t wait any longer! Toy Story-inspired food and beverage can be found across Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, and we could not get enough of it during our visit! There’s a variety of options, ranging from plant-based meals to stunning Toy Story-inspired beverages! Also, make sure to peek at the register stands if you go. Extra specialty drinks will be advertised there and they ARE worth trying!

hemed menu for Disney H2O Glow Nights at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon. Features, for example, Jerk Chicken Rice Bowl, Turkey Sandwich, Whistle Wetters (beverages), and Beverages with Alcohol. Menu contains about 14 different meals and over than one dozen drink options. Menu held by hand.

You can find a wide selection of options at Leaning Palms, Typhoon Tilly’sHappy Landings Ice Cream and Let’s Go Slurpin’. These offerings are available for a limited time, so be sure to try as much as you can!

3- Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Wait-Free Attractions

It’s time! Get ready for nearly WAIT-FREE lines on your most-loved attractions! Because there are fewer crowds at the events, you get more time to hop from slide to slide all night long. We did not have our camera on us for this one, but every slide we went on had only a FIVE MINUTE WAIT! How awesome is that?

And, if timed properly, you may get to ride everything before the night ends!

4- Disney H2O Glow Nights Dance Party

And do not forget, it’s not a party without a DJ. Head over to the Surf Pool Beach and dance the night away to some of the hottest jams. This, to be honest, can be done before, during or after everything else! Since it is a central location, you’re bound to walk through it to and from your destinations throughout Typhoon Lagoon. We snapped some photos of this during the start of sunset, however, at night is when it comes to LIFE. Keep an eye out for the neon lights and projections once the sun goes down. It will be the most fun beach party of the summer!

Crowd of people standing, running and/or dancing on the beach sand as a DJ is on a lit-up live stage in front of Disney's Typhoon Lagoon clock tower (which reads Disney's H2O Glow Nights). During the daytime. On stage, Toy Story character, Rex, is posed with his arms up in the air while wearing a pink tutu, some necklaces, and an orange wig and a silver horn metal helmet.

We also LOVED seeing the infamous Rex decorated in his best party gear for the evening! Those who love fun backdrops, make sure to snap a photo in front of him to show the world what a blast Disney H2O Glow Nights can be!

Nighttime. Zoom in of a rectangle fabric sign hanging in front of the Disney's Typhoon Lagoon exit reading "Disney's H2O Glow Nights" with below that reading "Later Fishies!" . Sign looks like it is glowing due to black lighting. Colors of it are a rich blue, dark blue, neon green and grass green.
