75 acres of pure adrenaline at Xero Gravity Action Sports and Entertainment Resort is set to open in Central Florida by 2018. The new resort will be the largest action sports resort ever and will be unlike any other resort in the world. The resort will house a variety of action sports with the ability to choose from numerous restaurants, bars, and retail outlets. Xero Gravity will boast a 25,000 sq. ft indoor/outdoor skateboard park, a BMX sanctioned racetrack, two skydiving pods, and even a white water rapid river with two 14-story water slides. It will also feature a 20,000 sq. ft indoor dodge ball trampoline arena, 140 ft of rock climbing and zip lines running throughout the entire resort. The best feature includes a 14-story ski and snowboard mountain with nine tubing lanes that feature fake snow. This $309 million resort is said to have admission prices of only $35 to $95 based on the sports package selected. The new resort will be located off of U.S. 192 and State Road 535 in Kissimmee. With the new additions throughout many of the theme parks in central Florida, Orlando will truly be a one-stop tourism destination. Guests will have the luxury of park hopping in Walt Disney World, relaxing on a beach for the day, or hitting the slopes for a day of action.
