New Things at Disney Springs

Since the official announcement in 2013 of Disney’s newest expansion and redevelopment at Downtown Disney, we have all anxiously awaited the many new bars, shops, entertainment and restaurants that have been opening in phases and will continue until completion in 2016. I have to say that the all-new Disney Springs is one spectacular place that everyone should visit upon their vacation time here in Orlando, Florida.

A Wonderful Visit to Disney Springs

As Disney published in their original press release in 2013: ” Disney Springs will be a timeless, vibrant place where Walt Disney World guests and local residents can relax, shop, dine and be entertained in an imaginative setting where they’ll instantly feel at home. Featuring distinctive brands, world-class restaurants, and unforgettable entertainment, Disney Springs will be brought to life with the same focus on storytelling and attention to detail that goes into our theme parks, resorts and cruise ships, resulting in welcoming space that only Disney could create.” A few weeks ago I visited Disney Springs with my family and had an amazing evening walking down the open promenade and listening to a variety of local live music stationed in front of food trucks! It was simply a relaxing evening and to enjoy such amazing entertainment free of charge was a pleasant surprise.
