The Incredible Hulk Coaster closed in September 2015 to undergo a major enhancement. Universal Studios engineers have been working feverishly to unleash a whole new beast summer 2016.
The ride enhancements will make the entire experience more immersive with high-tech upgrades. Guests will be thrown into a new storyline where General Thaddeus Ross subjects volunteer to high levels of gamma radiation.
The original ride will be incorporated into the new ride. Look out as Hulk uses his strength to hold up the arching original track while you pass through the ride entrance. The ride queue continues the military bio-radiological theme as guests walk through laboratories toward the radioactive core.
The Incredible Hulk Coaster originally opened in 1999. Reaching speeds of 67 mph and going from 0 to 40 in 2 seconds, guests underwent a G-force of 4. The new ride will have even more thrills, twists, and turns.
